Η TERNA, η εταιρεία που σχεδιάζει να μετατρέψει τα Κύθηρα σε μια βιομηχανική ζώνη με ανεμογεννήτριες, ανήκει εξ ολοκλήρου στον ενεργειακό τομέα των Ηνωμένων Αραβικών Εμιράτων. Ένα κύμα ευγενικών μηνυμάτων από πολίτες από όλο τον κόσμο μπορεί να τραβήξει τη διεθνή προσοχή σε αυτό που συμβαίνει.

Για να το κάνουμε όσο πιο εύκολο γίνεται, σας τα έχουμε ετοιμάσει όλα:

Projects like these do irreversible damage. The local population opposes them, and they threaten to turn Kythera into an industrial wasteland. I urge the UAE to reconsider its association with this destructive initiative.

As a friend of Greece and admirer of the UAE, I am alarmed that a company under Emirati ownership, TERNA, is attempting to build massive wind parks on Kythera, against the wishes of its inhabitants.
Kythera is not just any island — it is a living landscape of history, ecology, and peace. I respectfully request your government’s intervention to halt this misguided project.

This is not renewable progress — it is exploitation. Please support sustainable development, not destructive greenwashing.

I was shocked to learn that TERNA, connected to Emirati investment, is pursuing an aggressive wind farm project on Kythera — a Natura2000 site and sacred island for many Greeks.
Greece’s natural treasures are not expendable. We call on you to stop this damaging plan and demonstrate the UAE’s respect for environmental and cultural heritage.
